How we transfer
We use a mixture of professional and domestic VCR machines and time-base correction to ensure the original analogue tapes transfer as well as possible. All analogue video is processed through a Time Base Corrector. A Processing Amplifies (ProcAmp) is employed to offer adjustments to the video signal before capture such as brightness and level if necessary.
Open Source tools are used in the capture, editing and conversion of the digital video.
What you will receive
All transfers are done by myself with attention to detail and at the highest quality and bitrate that is appropriate for the material.
All transfers are trimmed, encoded, burnt to DVD with chapter points every 5 minutes and housed in a plastic DVD case with a laser printed card insert in our standard service.
More customised editing is possible as is custom DVD creation (authoring), case and surface printing of the DVD. This is different in every case though and must be quoted on an individual basis.
